Library Offers Curbside Delivery, Adjusted Hours

WOODBURY – The Woodbury Community Library has been offering curbside delivery and Wednesday afternoon. The library is now open on Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 to 5 p.m., and will continue to offer curbside delivery for any patron.

Larry Eldred, with assistance from Don Turgeon, recently made a little free library. This library will be attached outside the library door and contains free books for children and adults.

The library also offers free WiFi in and outside the library, and book requests.

Two high school students have created a short storywalk behind the library to the soccer field. This short walk is suitable for small children.

The library has received a Vermont Covid-19 Cultural Relief Grant from the Vermont Arts Council. The grant provided financial assistance when the annual Woodbury Pie Breakfast was canceled this past March. The pie breakfast serves as our main fundraiser. In addition, the Vermont Department of Libraries’ continued support and assistance is invaluable.

All who enter the library must wear a mask. The Woodbury Community Library is located behind the Woodbury Elementary School, off Route 14. For more information, inquire at woodburyvermontlibrary@gmail.com.
