Care Center Launches 2021 Canoe Raffle

CRAFTSBURY – Craftsbury Community Care Center will again raffle a canoe handcrafted by Greensboro artisan Phil Pike. This is the second year Pike has supported the Care Center’s fundraising efforts, helping to make up for its traditional fundraisers being canceled due to the pandemic.
This year’s two-seat canoe is 17 feet seven inches long and has a carrying yoke. Only 250 tickets will be sold, with the winning ticket drawn at Craftsbury’s Old Home Day on August 14.
Pike’s canoe will be displayed July 24 from 9 to 11 a.m., in Greensboro, then again on July 31, at the Craftsbury Farmer’s Market.Tickets may be purchased at craftsburycommunitycarecenter.org, at The Miller’s Thumb gallery in Greensboro, by emailing kroberge@craftsburycarecenter.org, or from any Care Center board member.
