PLAINFIELD – A Saturday morning conversation to envision and explore the Cutler Memorial Library for our children and youth will be held July 24, from 10 to 11 a.m.
The library wants ideas on how to serve the needs of children and youth while supporting parents, grandparents, mentors, and educators in the community. Attendees will learn about the library’s Reggio-based programming then will help us envision a children’s and youth library based on community needs and ideas. The discussion will be held outdoors under the large tent behind the library, with tea and coffee provided.
Children are invited to attend and encouraged to explore the library’s new sensory bins, play with Legos, and check out books. Supervision will be available during the conversation. A snack and drink will be provided.
This event is made possible due to a grant we were awarded by Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL).For additional information, please contact Angela Ogle at email@example.com.
