CRAFTSBURY – Front Seat Coffee has partnered with the Craftsbury Outdoor Center for the winter months to operate a satellite coffee shop on Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional hours will depend on snow conditions and special events.

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center made the decision in the early fall to not allow visitors to use the indoor spaces of the touring center, but still wanted to have food and drink offerings. They reached out to Front Seat Coffee to propose a winter home for the portable coffee shop that lives in Johnson during the warmer months. Front Seat didn’t have a plan for the satellite for the winter, so decided to work with the Craftsbury Outdoor Center.

The satellite will offer a full menu of espresso drinks, coffee, teas, chai, hot chocolate, and seltzer. It will also have rotating options of food offerings which are house made from scratch and baked daily, including baked goods: croissants, French macarons, cookies and bars. Lunch offering include empanadas and sausage rolls in addition to baked goods. There will also be daily specials, and gluten free and vegan options.

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center also plans to have Caja Madera, the Hardwick taco truck, provide refreshments during special events and during busy race weekends.
