Ballet Wolcott Dancers Head to Prestigious Summer Intensives

WOLCOTT – Upper-level Ballet Wolcott students have successfully auditioned with thousands of other dancers from all over the world for the opportunity to study at some of the most prestigious ballet schools and companies for summer intensive training. Ballet Wolcott teacher Steffi Thomas is “Extremely proud of their hard work and discipline.”
The dancers from Morrisville, Hyde Park, Worcester, Middlesex and Marshfield will attend Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, The National Ballet of Canada, San Francisco Ballet, The HARID Conservatory, Burklyn Ballet Theater, and Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory.
Artistic director Joanne Whitehill is “excited for the dancers to go and experience the dance world with their peers from around the world and come back to share it with the arts community of Vermont”
