On April 30, at 0108 hours, Troopers from the Middlesex Barracks stopped Justin Folsom, of Marshfield, for a motor vehicle equipment violation. Folsom showed signs of impairment and was run through field sobriety exercises. He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to Barre City Police Department for processing. He was later released and cited to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on May 19, at 0830 hours to answer to the charge of DUI.
On April 27, at 15:00 p.m., Troopers from the Middlesex Barracks were notified of a horse named “Tango” that had gone missing from a residence in Marshfield.
Subsequent investigation led to the discovery of a nearby surveillance camera capturing an unknown man and woman walking Tango towards John Fowler Road on April 23 at approximately 1428 hours. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals and locating Tango to return him safely to his owner.
