Prescription Bags Now Available

MORRSIVILLE – Healthy Lamoille Valley recently received an Opioid Prevention and Response grant from the Vermont Department of Health. As part of that grant we were able to purchase 500 in home locked prescription drug bags. These bags are designed to help you secure prescription medicines in the home, keeping your loved ones safe. Bags can be picked up at the Lamoille Family Center (480 Cady’s Falls Road, Morrisville) lobby during business hours. The bags also contain information on safe storage and disposal, questions to ask when getting a new prescription, and the Opioid Hope card that shares how to get help for those who may be struggling with a substance use disorder. The bags are first-come, first-serve.
