Special Select Board Meeting Today to Discuss ARPA Funding Requests

HARDWICK – The Hardwick Select Board will hold a special board meeting on Wednesday, July 13, at 1 p.m. to discuss funding options for the wastewater treatment plant and to review ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding requests. The meeting will be held in the Memorial Building and via Zoom.
The select board is considering two financing options to pay for the work on the town wastewater treatment plant: funding over a 20-year period, with a debt service cost of approximately $138,000 per year, or a 30-year term, with a debt service cost of approximately $101,000 per year.
The discussion of ARPA fund requests will review the list of funding requests received by the board and will provide applicants to provide details on their requests. The published list of requestors who replied by the application deadline include:

After the ARPA review, the meeting will follow the usual select board agenda, including select board reports, old business and new business.
