Blueberry Festival to be Held July 30

CRAFTSBURY – The Craftsbury Farmers’ Market will hold the annual Vermont Blueberry Festival on Saturday, July 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the festival, there will be free admission, as well as blueberry-themed products developed by vendors. There will be free, family-friendly entertainment by “Gordon’s Granite Calliope,” caricatures, face-painting and a bouncy house. Also included in the festival will be a blueberry pie-baking contest. Judges are Thomas McCurdy, of Ardelia Farm in Irasburg (McCurdy is a chef and occasional television personality seen on Food Network’s “Chopped Sweets” or FOX’s “Crime Scene Kitchen” Season 1), Phil Lovely from Brown’s Blueberries, and Jacob Fritz.
