Albany, Craftsbury, Glover and Greensboro are Blessed

To the editor:

Our district was blessed when Katherine Sims won a seat in the Legislature in 2020. In 2007 she founded the Green Mountain Farm-to-School network, and more recently headed the Northeast Kingdom Collaborative. As a member of the Legislature’s Committee on Energy and Technology, Katherine is actively promoting the extension of broadband internet throughout the Kingdom. Outside of her committee, Katherine has worked hard to help pass legislation that will change the school funding formula so rural schools can access the additional resources they need. Beyond all this she has kept on top of the major issues in state government, and keeps us regularly informed through local media. Voting in favor of Proposal 5, her stand on reproductive health corresponds to majority opinion in our district and indeed the whole state. I urge voters in Albany, Craftsbury, Glover and Greensboro to support Katherine’s re-election in November.
