Strider Bikes Available at Jeudevine Library

Strider Bikes

HARDWICK – The Hardwick Trails Committee has bought two Strider bicycles which will be at the Jeudevine Library and available to check out by families wanting to get their children rolling. Soon the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail will be open, and it will be a perfect spot for beginning riders to learn to ride.

The library has one Strider bicycle with pedals and one without pedals. Without pedals, kids learn balance and essential riding skills on any terrain. With pedals kids can start gliding along while still being close to the ground. The library also has two helmets for the riders.

The bikes go out for three-hour periods, and are available for registered members of the library 18 years or older. If interested, stop by the library or call 472-5948 or email  jeudevinelibrary@hardwickvt.gov.
