Book Discussion on Aug. 24

HARDWICK – The August book discussion at Jeudevine Library will be on Wednesday, August 24, at 6 p.m., at the library. The book is a novel by Jonas Jonasson, “The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared.” The hero of the story is Allan Karlsson who has had a life bigger than a tall tale. He decides he is not ready to waste his days in a nursing home and on his 100th birthday he escapes to an adventure that leads him into appropriating a suitcase, running for his life.
