Family-Friendly Celebration on Aug. 24

HARDWICK – Jeudevine Memorial Library gears up for a robust season of programming for children and teens this fall, and the library is hosting a family-friendly celebration on Wednesday, Aug. 24, featuring Ethan Nelson, playing guitar and getting children singing along. Marilyn McDowell, Jeudevine’s new children’s librarian, will read pirate stories and there will be giant bubble making. There will be ice cream for everyone. The celebration begins at 11 a.m. Families are invited to meet at Atkins Field in the pavilion, and the event will happen rain or shine.
