Greensboro Farmers’ Market Kids’ Day on Aug. 24

GREENSBORO – Greensboro Farmers’ Market will host their first Kids’ Day and are looking for young people and their families to try out vending for the day. Possibilities for vendors are arts and crafts, food from gardens, baked goods or treats or anything else made or grown themselves. Kids’ Day will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the town green at the junctions of Lauredon Road and Craftsbury Road. The Green Mountain Skillet Lickers, a local youth string band, will be performing. There will be face painting, lawn games, and ice cream. Children vendor slots are free, and if adult family members would also like to vend for the day, it’s $10.
