Harvest Festival Planned for Sept. 25
MARSHFIELD – The Jaquith Public Library Trustees and Friends will hold the harvest festival on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free family-friendly activities like cider pressing, an art-making tent, field games, petting zoo, book sale, bake sale, horse and wagon rides, 50/50 raffle and vendors selling art, crafts and locally-grown goods. A food tent will feature chilis, soups, stews and local homemade breads. There will be free music: from12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Steppes (rock fusion); 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tom McKenzie, Patti Casey and Friends (old time bluegrass, folk and more). At 3 p.m., there will be a hike up to the Marshfield cliffs.
