Informational Meeting on Article 22 on Sept. 14

HARDWICK – An Article 22 Informational Forum will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at St. Norbert Church. Article 22 (aka Prop 5) will appear on the November ballot for voters to decide whether to add an amendment to the Vermont Constitution that would guarantee abortion rights up to the point of birth and for minor children without parental notification. Vermont Representative Anne Donahue, for “Vermonters For Good Government,” and Mary Beerworth from “Vermont Right to Life” are the featured speakers. There will be an opportunity for asking questions as well as discussion. This is a non-denominational forum to learn about all the specifics of this legislation. Refreshments will be served.
