Winnifred Patoine

ST. JOHNSBURY – Winnifred Patoine, 90, formerly of Wild Ammonoosuc Road, died Sunday, September 4, at the Canterbury Inn, St. Johnsbury. She was born in Hardwick, on March 4, 1932, the daughter of Raymond and Lucy (Nourse) Anair. She attended local schools. She married Norman Patoine November 27, 1963. She worked at many local shoe factories, Pilgrim’s Furniture, Littleton, N.H., and Burndy Corporation, North Haverhill. N.H. Winnifred was a parishioner at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Woodsville, N.H. She loved to knit, crochet, quilt, can and sew school clothes. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Norman Roger Patoine in 2011, daughters Phyllis Ainsworth, Katharine Patoine, a son Lawrence Willey, and a brother Alfred Anair.

She is survived by her sons, Howard Patoine, Gordon Willey, Alfred Willey, Arnie Willey, Dennis Willey, Raymond Willey, and a daughter Diane Huckins, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 13, 11 a.m., at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bath, N.H.
