Aging Well and Cold Weather Preparedness Oct. 12

HARDWICK – Information on aging well and cold weather preparedness will be given on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m., at the Jeudevine Memorial Library. Attendees will learn the basics about how lifestyle choices promote healthy aging and how brain health is connected to lifestyle choices. The discussion on cold weather preparedness will give information on ways to stay protected during cold weather events, like extreme cold, power outages, and ice and snow storms. Attendees will learn how to assemble an emergency kit on a budget. The program is presented by the Vermont Medical Reserve Corps. For more information, call the Jeudevine Library at 472-5948.
