Civic Standard Receives Donation for Community Events
HARDWICK – The nonprofit Civic Standard Inc. has received a share of $750 donated by Community Bank in celebration of their National Good Neighbor Day on September 28.
Civic Standard, located on South Main Street in the Gazette building, received the donation to provide free events for people to gather as a community.
On Good Neighbor Day on September 28, Community Bank branches across the bank’s four-state footprint marked the day by donating to community causes and organizations on a local level to help make an impact close to home.
Civic Standard shared the donation with Jenna’s Promise to create a network of support that will help people suffering from substance abuse disorder, and with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, to support family planning services, health care and education services.
