Fighting for the Rights of Vermont’s Working People
To the editor:
I am writing to encourage my friends and neighbors in Hardwick, Stannard and Walden to re-elect Chip Troiano to the Vermont House of Representatives. During Chip’s three terms aslegislator for our district he has made fighting for the rights of Vermont working people andprotecting Senior Citizens and other vulnerable adults mainstays of his work.
Chip knows that people depend on a healthy environment in order to prosper. He was a leadsponsor of H-626, a Pollinator Protection bill that passed into law. He has also worked tirelessly to try to ban pesticide treated seeds. We need to keep him working to make the ban real.
Affordable housing shortages are endemic nationwide. Safe recovery housing for past substance abusers is especially difficult to fund and create. Chip was a lead sponsor this past year on a bill to create such housing using some of the federal funds that came to Vermont from the American Rescue Plan. Chip is tuned in to the needs of our corner of Caledonia County. He is the right person to represent us in the House.
Please vote to re-elect Chip Troiano to the House of Representatives on November 8.
