Orange for Rev. Sunday-Winters
Some members of Greensboro’s United Church of Christ in Greensboro celebrated the birthday of Rev. Sunday-Winters at the November 6 worship service by surprising him with their attendance in an orange article of clothing. This was to recognize the pastor’s devotion to The Volunteers, the football team (whose color is orange) of the University of Tennessee, the state in which Rev. Sunday-Winters was born. Rev. Sunday-Winters is at the far left.
