The Civic Standard
It was the end of an era when the Hardwick Gazette sign was taken off the building October 31 and replaced with The Civic Standard sign, the new occupants of the building. The Civic Standard co-founders Tara Reese (left) and Rose Friedman (right) stand with the two signs. Co-founder Erica Heilman is missing from the photo. The organization provides ways to bring people together to build events of interest. Their mission is overseen by an advisory board of artists, students, educators and community members. They have been located in the building since August 29.
