Wolcott Street Bridge Work
Workman installed a “plug joint” on November 2 on the Wolcott Street bridge over Cooper Creek just east of Hardwick’s House of Pizza. A plug joint allows the metal bridge to expand in the heat of the day without damaging the connecting roadway and its asphalt surface, which will not expand.
