Tobacco Cessation Meeting Dec. 20 on Zoom

MORRISVILLE – Healthy Lamoille Valley’s Tobacco and Vape Prevention and Cessation Taskforce will hold a public meeting on “Tobacco and Our Rural Community” with guest presenter Dr. Elias Klemperer. The meeting will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at noon.
The topic will be addressing tobacco cessation among adults in rural communities, the research, local experience and next steps. The meeting will share local experiences and brainstorm strategies for the Lamoille Valley towards cessation and prevention of tobacco and vaping and its impacts.

Joining the meeting will be Elias Klemperer, PhD, assistant professor at the University of Vermont in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychological Science and an investigator with the Vermont Center on Behavior and Health.
