GREENSBORO/CABOT – New Hampshire artist Amy Fortier will lead participants through the steps to create mandala images in a Zoom workshop offered from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22. The workshop is co-sponsored by the Greensboro Free Library and Cabot Public Library and is free and open to all ages.
Although Fortier has been drawing since she was a child, she first showed her work publicly in 2011, when she applied to paint a four-foot-tall fiberglass pig as part of Hanover’s 250th anniversary celebration. Since then, she has exhibited her work extensively and taught workshops devoted to creating and painting mandalas. She also sells her painted artwork as well as mandala coloring sheets at her website, amyfortier.com.
Anyone interested in the workshop is encouraged to contact either the library to sign up and receive the Zoom link by emailing email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. Participants will need to pick up copies of the workshop handout the week before at either library or request an electronic copy to print at home.
