On April 10 at 2:13 p.m., Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to an address on River Road in the town of Cambridge for a suspicious male. The caller advised an unknown male drove down her driveway and continued to drive around her house and into the woods. The male then got his truck stuck up against several trees. The operator of the truck was identified as Jeremy Chapin, of Hardwick. Chapin showed several signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.

On April 14 at approximately 2:56 p.m., Officer Jasmine Hendry and Officer George Johnson were dispatched to 605 Railroad Street for possible drug activity. This is the address of George Phelps and he was located.

Phelps had an active warrant and was arrested. He was transported to the St. Johnsbury Police Department where he was fingerprinted, photographed and released with a citation. He has a court date of June 26 at the Caledonia Court.
