Hardwick Police Report

On April 25 around noon, Hardwick Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash on Vt. Rte. 14 near the intersection of Vt. Rte. 15. After the initial investigation, Hardwick Police learned that a 2016 Red Toyota Tacoma, driven by David Pudvah, had stopped at the Kwik Stop but not left in park. The vehicle then rolled across the roadway and collided with the New England Auto Glass building causing damage to the garage door and a work van right behind the garage door. No injuries were reported.

On April 25, Hardwick Police arrested Danielle Lowe, of Hardwick, for violating her conditions of release. Lowe was issued a criminal citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Lamoille Criminal Division on May 10, at 12:30 p.m.

On May 4, Officer Force of the Hardwick Police Department attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Vermont Rte. 16 involving an Acura MDX for a handwritten registration plate towing a trailer without a registration plate. Operator Alain Fradette failed to pull over for a law enforcement vehicle with their emergency lights and siren activated. The short pursuit ended at the residence of 3148 Vt. Rte. 16. Fradette was charged with Violation of Conditions of Release, Operating with an Interlock Restricted License, Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest. Fradette was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on June 26, at 8:30 a.m.
