David Dondero will present a solo concert at the East Hardwick Grange on Friday, May 19, at 7 p.m. The evening will include Bryce Clifford on the piano as the opening act.
David Dondero, an American troubadour, has been touring for 30 years and his music has taken him around the world multiple times. His style and ongoing narratives are hard to fit into a particular genre. Dondero was listed by NPR as one of the top 10 greatest living songwriters. He has recorded 10 albums and his 11th is slated to come out on Fluff and Gravy Records this summer.
The Civic Standard will provide refreshments. The event is by donation, but reservations are encouraged as space is limited: firstname.lastname@example.org. This is the first performance in the Civic Standard’s Take a Chance Series, which features world-class touring performers in intimate and unlikely local venues. The grange is located at 88 East Church St.
