Hardwick Police Report
On October 18, at approximately 10:59 a.m., Officer Force located Lucas Molleur who had an In-State Warrant for failing to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on October 16. He was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to Northeast Regional Correctional Complex and lodged on a $200 cash bail.
On October 9, at 12:21 p.m., Shyanne Thompson of Hardwick called to report a motor vehicle accident on Hopkins Hill Road. The vehicle was not placed in park and subsequently rolled into the ditch. No injuries were reported.
On October 17, at 10:12 a.m., police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Buffalo Mountain Market. A 1997 International box truck, operated by William Chidsey, of Hardwick, was backing out of a parking space and cut the corner too sharp hitting the back of the vehicle parked beside him. That vehicle, a 2018 Toyota Tacoma owned by Karl Stein of Greensboro Bend, received damage to the right rear quarter and rear bumper. Stein was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident. There were no injuries and no damage to the box truck.
On October 16, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police were informed of an LSA that occurred at the United Church on South Main Street. Danielle Gokey had her 2010 Dodge truck parked in front of the church. When Gokey came out her mirror had been broken on the driver’s side. She had no information on who did the damage. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call the Hardwick Police Department.
