National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), the annual event of writers around the globe drafting a novel in 30 days, kicks off in November. This is the 25th year of the nonprofit encouraging creativity, education, and the power of the imagination through their fun, inclusive writing programs. Since 1999, more than four million writers around the world have signed up for NaNoWriMo’s flagship event of writing 50,000 words during November, making it the largest writing event in the world. NaNoWriMo encourages writers to find and tell their stories because everyone’s story matters.
