On October 27, the Hardwick Police Department took a theft report that occurred behind the Northeast Service Center. The victim reported that her daughter’s bicycle was taken from behind the garage. With the assistance of a faculty member at Hazen Union School, the bicycle was located. On October 28, Jason Judkins was arrested for Petit Larceny and released on a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on December 18.

On November 1 at approximately 9 a.m., Lamoille Valley Ford called to report a theft from a motor vehicle. A JP Sicard Inc. vehicle had a broken window and tools that were stolen from inside the vehicle. This is still under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Hardwick Police Department.

On November 6 at 2:45 p.m., Cotey A. Bartlett, of Hardwick, called to report several items stolen from a small shed at his home.

These items include a truck gun rack, an engraved end table, a Black and Decker circular saw, and a Husky Ratchet set. The total value of these items came to more than $160.00. He believed the theft may have happened sometime over the last four days.

On November 5 at 11:21 a.m., Miranda Resnick, of Hardwick, was backing out of a parking space with her 2006 Toyota Tacoma and hit the front of Hardwick resident, Lawrence Moulton’s, 2009 Subaru Legacy. There was minor damage to the hood of the Subaru and no damage to the Toyota.
