On October 27, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Alain Fradette, of East Hardwick, was arrested in the Hardwick Village area for driving with a criminally suspended driver’s license, violating conditions of release, and not having an ignition interlock device. He was issued a court citation to appear in Caledonia Court on December 18 and two traffic tickets for not having his vehicle registered and not having liability insurance.

On November 6 at 1:14 p.m., Officer Force recognized Kyle Neill, of Woodbury, who had two outstanding Caledonia and Washington County warrants at the Hardwick Kwik Stop and Deli. Neill was taken into custody without incident A search after arrest led to the discovery of possible crack cocaine on Neill’s person. He was charged with Possession of Cocaine and transported to Northeast Regional Correctional Complex for lodging on a $2,500 cash bail.

On November 6 at 8:50 p.m., the Hardwick Police Department was dispatched to Dona’s Car Store for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer truck and a parked vehicle. This crash was self-reported by the driver, 34-year-old Anton Staroshchuk of Chicago, Ill. Staroshchuk had pulled into the parking lot to rest and hit a parked Ford F450 box truck belonging to New American Stone Mills of Wolcott. This crash resulted in moderate damage to the F450 and minor damage to the trailer portion of the Tractor Trailer truck.

On November 10 at 11:52 a.m., the Hardwick Police Department responded to a report of a traffic hazard on Wolcott St. Officer Force and Corporal Brunelle located the vehicle. Operator Amanda Fuller, of Hardwick, explained that she had run out of gas. Fuller had a warrant for failing to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court. She was released on a citation to appear on November 13 at 12:30 p.m., for the charge of DUI.
