HARDWICK – The obituary for Gerard Hall that appears in this issue should have appeared in the January 10 edition. Because of changes to the Gazette’s emails, the obituary from the funeral home was not found until after the deadline for the January 10 edition.

HARDWICK – In the story about the Hardwick Select Board on Page 1 of the December 20 edition, it was reported that the board voted to adopt the town’s updated All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. The item was on the agenda, but after discussion the motion was withdrawn.

HARDWICK – As a clarification to the Hardwick Select Board meeting as reported in the October 18 edition of the Gazette, the Jeudevine Library addition will be attached to the side of the existing building but a redesign was necessary to raise the addition up due to the excessive groundwater.

The sketch that accompanied the Jeudevine Memorial Library story last week was of the old design that went down in a failed bond vote in 2017. The better sketch (above) shows the exterior rendering of the current design that matches the footprint that was printed with the story.
